The Teacher Eligibility Association 2018 protested on Thursday demanding early recruitment of more than 13,000 vacant Class-I and II posts in government schools of Madhya Pradesh.
The started protest at Polytechnic square and later reached School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar's bungalow at Shyamala Hills.
On Thursday, the selected candidates association in the Teacher Eligibility Association 2018 protested for the demand of increasing the number of in the post of teacher recruitment-2018. For this they gathered in Bhopal from all over the state. They also handed over the memorandum to Minister Parmar.
Earlier, all the candidates protested near Ravindra Bhawan located at Polytechnic. Shyamlal Ravidas, convenor of the association said that they have come up with the demand for increase in the posts of classes one, two and three. Apart from this, there is also a demand to expedite permanent teacher recruitment.
Recruitment in these posts is happening after about 11 years. There is a demand that these posts should be increased. In class-1 and 2, 13000 and total of 51000 teachers should be recruited. We are crossing the age limit, now we are not eligible for new vacancies.
The protesting teachers demanded posts should be increased in the neglected subjects of secondary teacher recruitment like Hindi, Urdu, Science, Social Science and Sanskrit etc.
Higher Secondary Teacher Recruitment Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Agriculture, Sociology, Chemistry, Biology and Commerce
etc. posts should be increased.
Selection lists should be issued for the total remaining 2237 posts of all classes under secondary teacher recruitment and for the total remaining 6530 posts of all classes under higher secondary teacher recruitment.
Before the upcoming selection recruitment process, the teacher recruitment of 2018 should be completed by doing the third counseling along with the increase in the post.
Appointment letters should be provided to the remaining eligible candidates on the vacant posts of department change, category change and promotion.
