MP Transco energises 50 MVA trasnformer

MP Power Transmission Company (MP Transco) has energized  50 MVA Additional power transformer at 132 KV Sub station  Talakapura  in Khargone district. Madhya Pradesh Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar informed that in view of the increasing electricity demand of agricultural and domestic consumers in Talakpura area, M.P. Transco increased the capacity of the substation by  50 MVA  Additional power transformer.

Madhya Pradesh Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar said that MP Transco has succeeded in energizing this power transformer through remote technology from Indore SCADA Center by installing it at an estimated cost of about Rs 6.4 crore. This has strengthened the transmission system of Khargone district. He said that with the energization of this transformer, the electricity consumers associated with Segaon, Lonara, Sangvi, Talakpura, Narmada Valley Development Authority  pumping substation will be greatly benefited, now quality electricity supply will be available to them. Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar  congratulated MPTransco personnel for this success.

Transformation capacity of Khargone district increased to 2124 MVA.

MP Transco's Executive Engineer Kushmila Masodkar said that in Khargone district, Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company transmits electricity through its 12Extra  high voltage substations, which include 2 no of 220 KV and 10 no.132 KV substations are included. With the installation of this transformer, the capacity of Talakpura substation will increase to 90 MVA. And the transformation capacity of Khargone district has increased to 2124 MVA.

Total Installed Capacity of M.P.   Transco enhanced to 78328 MVA

The total installed transformation capacity of MP  Transco has now increased to 78328 MVA. in which 400 K.V. side 11095 MVA, 220 KV. Side 32595 M.V.A. And 132 KV.side  34638 M.V.A. Capacity exists. MP. Transco transmits electricity in Madhya Pradesh through its 415 Extra  high voltage substations, which include 14  of 400 KV., 88 of 220 KV. and 313 substations of   132 KV voltage lavel   are included. In state a total of 1009 power transformers are operational in MP.Transco's.
