To make Bhopal number 1 in cleanliness by ensuring the cleanliness system of the city according to the prescribed standards of the Swachh Survekshan 2023 and improving the cleanliness of drains as well as motivating the people for active cooperation in the activities of cleanliness, Bhopal Mayor inspected several localities.

In view of this, Mayor Malti Rai is inspecting various areas of the city and directing them to ensure cleanliness, garbage collection and execution and better cleaning of drains.

In the same sequence, Mayor Rai inspected drains, markets and residential areas in Zone No. 12 in the morning and Zone No. 15 in the evening on Tuesday and instructed to get the big drains cleaned through Pokland machines and other resources.

Mayor Malti Rai visited Anand Nagar, Vardhaman Green City, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Sabzi Mandi Ayodhya Bypass Marg, Kalpana Nagar, Indrapuri, D.K. Tower and inspected drains, residential settlements, market areas located in Subhash Nagar, Rachna Nagar, Gautam Nagar, Anna Nagar, Security Line, Mahadev Complex, MP Nagar Gayatri Mandir, Durga Nagar, Rajeev Nagar etc. in the evening and Received detailed information regarding the cleanliness system and also discussed with the local residents and businessmen.

Mayor Rai gave instructions to clean the big drains through the Pokeland machine, as well as to clean all the other drains through the necessary resources and to organize the flow of water more.

Mayor Rai said that the cleaning and drainage of drains should be ensured in such a way that the situation of water-logging does not arise anywhere.
