Saturday, 02 September 2023 | PNS | Ranchi

NDA's campaign is going on in full swing in the Dumri bye-election. BJP State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi has put all his strength in the campaign of Dumri by-election. After the booth level workers' conference in all the six divisions, the party has now laid emphasis on village contact campaigns.

Today BJP State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi visited dozens of villages and appealed to the people to vote in favor of NDA candidate Yashoda Devi.

Marandi in his addresses requested for first voting and then refreshments. In the public relations campaign, Marandi today addressed people in dozens of villages including Jaridih, Baradih, Khaksawa, Karma, Bahiyar, Barwadih.

Marandi said that the way public anger is visible against the present government, it has become clear that the people of Dumri assembly constituency have decided to teach the Hemant government a lesson.

He said that the JMM/Congress government wants to remain in power for money and family. He is not worried about the poor people of the state, unemployed people, farmers, sisters and daughters, tribals, Dalits and backward people.

He said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee had established a separate state by respecting the sentiments of the tribals and indigenous people of Jharkhand. But the Hemant government mortgaged the state to robbers, middlemen and brokers.

He said that today's government is not even repairing the roads built during the BJP government. There is corruption everywhere in the state. Go to the block police station or any office, no work is done without money. Poor people have to pay bribes even to get a death certificate made. He said that the brokers and middlemen are dominant in the state. The police administration is busy in extortion instead of maintaining law and order.

Addressing the village of Santhal Samaj, he said that Santhali language was included in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution by Atal Bihari Vajpayee's government. Today, Narendra Modi ji gave great respect to the tribals by making the tribal daughter of Santhal community the President of India. The birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda was declared as Tribal Pride Day. Today there are eight tribal ministers in the Government of India.

He said that the BJP government is dedicated to the development of villages, poor farmers and laborers. He said that for the development of the state, strengthen the NDA to save Jharkhand from corruption, familyism, appeasement.

He appealed to vote for NDA candidate Yashoda Devi on banana print by pressing the button on banana print on coming 5th September.

Marandi was accompanied by former State President Dr. Ravindra, former MP Ravindra Pandey, State Vice President Pranav Verma, State Working Committee member Suresh Sav etc.
