Lotus will bloom in Haryana’s all 10 Lok Sabha seats in 2024 polls: Amit Shah

Monday, 30 January 2023 | PNS | Chandigarh

Union Home Minister and Senior BJP leader Amit Shah on Sunday said that ‘lotus’ will bloom on all the ten Lok Sabha seats of Haryana in 2024 polls.

“The people of Haryana will again vote to make Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister by blooming lotus on all ten seats of Haryana in 2024 election,” said Shah, while addressing the rally via telephone. Shah, who was scheduled to attend the party rally organized at Gohana town, could not reach there because of continuous rains.

“All of us together will work to make Narendra Modi ji as Prime Minister again. I am confident that the lotus of Bhartiya Janta Party will bloom at every Lok Sabha seat…In the last eight years, there has been a rapid development in Haryana under the leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar,” he said.

Appreciating the development works being done by the State Government, Shah said: “The speed at which development has taken place in Haryana in the past eight years, it did not happen during the tenure of the previous governments. Corruption has been reduced in every field, the law and order has been strengthened and casteism has ended. Now youth are getting government jobs in a transparent manner. Also, educated sarpanches are now taking Haryana forward.”

Public Welfare Resolutions Fulfilled in 8 Years: Khattar

Haryana Chief Minister Khattar said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the Government was formed in Haryana in 2014 and since then the resolutions taken for public welfare are being implemented.

“Before 2014, there was an environment of fear and corruption in Haryana, which was removed by our Government. Several welfare schemes have been implemented for the poor and needy by working to change the system,” he added.

Taking a dig, the Chief Minister said that the previous governments used to claim to provide benefits till the last person, but in reality did not deliver. “Our government started the system of delivering the benefits of welfare schemes to each person,” he said, adding that the double engine government of the Centre and the State is serving the people of Haryana.

Khattar said that the Prime Minister had given the slogan of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’. Similarly, following the mantra of ‘Haryana Ek - Haryanvi Ek’, we have ensured uniform development of the entire state. “Our government did not discriminate against any region. An amount of Rs five crore each has been given to every MLA, whether it is from the ruling party or the opposition; for the development of their respective areas,” he added. Apart from this, the Panchayati Raj Institutions have been given more powers to get development works done in their areas.

“Taking the resolution of good governance, the state government has provided benefits of all the schemes and services to the public in a transparent manner while sitting at home,” said the Chief Minister.

Taking a jibe at the Congress, the Chief Minister said that a ‘BBC’ Government used to run during the tenure of the Congress — ‘Badli, Bharti and CLU’. The state government stopped this ‘BBC’ practice and made unique experiments for the people to get good governance, he said.

“The opposition says that unemployment has increased in the state, but the reality is that those who used to do corruption have become unemployed today. Due to this, the opposition gets an increased figure of unemployment,” he added. Khattar said that the farmers are getting all the benefits through the ‘Meri Fasal, Mera Byora’ portal. He said that 14 crops are bought on MSP in the state and thousands of crores of rupees have been sent directly in the accounts of the farmers through DBT for their crop prices. Apart from this, the government has worked on water management and ‘Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana’ has been implemented.
