Famous stand-up comedian Atul Khatri is all set to tickle funny bones of the denizens and that too with a cause.

The Jamshedpur chapter of Young Indians (YI) is all set to organise a show by country's famous stand-up comedian Atul Khatri on April 15 to raise funds for the construction of the pond. Khatri will perform at this show titled ‘Khatri Se Khatra’ to be held at Loyola School's Fasy Auditorium from 7:30 pm on April 15. This event is being organized by the Jamshedpur chapter to raise funds under the pond project. Khatri is an Indian stand-up comedian and YouTube personality. He was rated one of the top Indian comedians by CNN-IBN and was the only Indian to perform at the Hong Kong International Comedy Festival. He has also been the winner of CEO Got Talent season one.

“We aim to raise funds for a cause and have brought together comedians, audiences, and supporters for a night of humour and generosity. Khatri is known for delivering rib-tickling jokes and anecdotes that will have the audience roaring with laughter,” said an official of CII YI. His witty jokes and clever observations on various topics, ranging from everyday life to pop culture, will keep the audience entertained throughout the evening.

Atul Khatri is a Mumbai based businessman who got up late in life and decided to do English Standup comedy so that he could tick it off his own personal bucket list. An Indian Computer Engineer and a British management scholar who always orders soup one by two even when he is eating alone.  CNN-IBN rated him as one of the top 20 comedians in India to watch out for. He won the 'CEOs got Talent' trophy competing against 11 other CEOs.

"We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from the community. It's amazing to see how our community comes together for a good cause, and we are grateful for the opportunity to use our comedic talents to make a positive impact," the official noted.

The organisers are hopeful that the show will not only raise funds for the ponds but also raise awareness about the importance of rural welfare and encourage more people to consider adopting or supporting such initiatives.
