SAIL Ranchi Units celebrate I-Day

 

The 77th Independence Day at SAIL Ranchi Units was celebrated with Nationalistic Flavour and Traditional Gaiety with the National Tricolour hoisted by Nirvik Banerjee, ED Incharge (RDCIS) in the august presence of Asish Chakraborty, ED(SSO & HRD), SK Verma, ED(CET), SK Kar, ED(RDCIS), CGMs of SAIL Ranchi Units and other officers, employees and families. In his address Banerjee spoke about the last year's achievements of SAIL and in Particular that of RDCIS, which has been the fountainhead of introducing many new products to the Nation specially the 1175 HT grade Rails. At MTI, the National Flag was hoisted by Asish Chakraborty and at SAIL funded by Indrani Banerjee, President Ispat Mahila Samaj.

 

Canara Bank celebrates I-Day 

 

Canara Bank Zonal Office, Ranchi celebrated 77th Independence Day with great enthusiasm under the guidance of Srinath Joshi, General Manager. B.D. Kujur, Deputy General Manager hoisted the National Flag on August 15. The National Flag was saluted by the security personnel of the Bank. Kujur addressed and wished everyone a Happy Independence Day. He paid humble tributes to the great freedom fighters who sacrificed their all to liberate the country. Pramod Saraf, Assistant General Manager and Sunil Kumar, Assistant General Manager also addressed the gathering. After the flag hoisting, a cultural program was organized in which the staff members participated enthusiastically. Ashish Kumar Mishra, Chief Manager and staff members of Circle  Office and local branches were present on this occasion. 

 

Fancy dress contest among kids 

 

Jamshedpur: Step by Step Play School embraced the spirit of Independence Day by hosting a spectacular 'Incredible India' event, featuring an enchanting fancy dress competition. Little stars shone brightly as they adorned the roles of India's revered leaders, bringing history to life through their vibrant costumes and enthusiastic performances. Principal Dolly Upadhyay said that the event not only celebrated our nation's rich heritage but also nurtured a sense of patriotism and unity among the young minds, reminding everyone of the sacrifices made for India's freedom.

 

I-Day celebrated at Oasis School

 

HAZARIBAG: The 77th Independence Day was celebrated with great pomp at Oasis School. On this occasion, school principal Dr. Ahsanul Haq hoisted the flag and the school NCC cadets saluted the flag and all the students sang the national anthem. The students of the school presented excellent dance, singing, playing and speech in the cultural program organized oin the school premises. The chief guest of the program VS Rathore congratulated the present students and teachers on Independence Day and said that the presentation of the students was really spectacular in which their talent and guidance skills of their guides were clearly reflected. In the program, School President Shabbir Ahmed and Treasurer Tanveer Ahmed also reminded countless patriots and immortal martyrs on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day and told them to remain determined to keep freedom intact.

 

XISS celebrates I-Day with fervour

 

Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi celebrated the 77th Independence Day amidst pride and joy on 15 August, Tuesday in its campus. The event commenced with the hoisting of the Tricolour by Director XISS followed by the National Anthem to set the spirit of the day. Faculty, Staff, and students attended the event and celebrated the day.  In his address Dr Joseph Marianus Kujur, Director, XISS said, “On our 77th Independence Day, we unite in celebration of our enduring spirit and reaffirm our devotion to "Nation first, always first!" Amidst our progress, we cherish unity's role in our past and present, honouring patriots. With enormous growth in sectors such as education, health, women empowerment, science and technology, space research and a GDP rise etc., in the last 77 years, our journey requires more than just numbers – it needs unwavering dedication and shared purpose. We must nurture self-confidence, trust, uphold rights, and follow all our duties.

 

Independence Day celebration at SBPS

Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi became a part of the ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ and ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative in observance of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrating 77th year of India's Freedom with great patriotic fervor on 15th August, 2023. A special assembly was conducted on the theme ‘Sharing similarities, celebrating differences’. A Prabhat Pheri was also organized around the school campus with the slogans of Jai Hind and Vande Mataram. The celebration of the Independence Day, commenced with hoisting of the tricolour in the august presence of Dr. Pradip Varma, School Head Personnel & Admin., Paramjit Kaur, Principal, SBPS, Ranchi, Prof. (Dr.)   V. K. Singh, Registrar, Sarala Birla University, Narahari Das, Chief Accountant, SBPS, Ranchi and other dignitaries accompanied by the melodious National Anthem resonating the proud patriotic passion of all the students.

CMPDI celebrates 77th I-Day

 

On the occasion of 77th Independence Day, Manoj Kumar, CMD, CMPDIL hoisted the National Flag at CMPDI (HQ), Ranchi and remembered the sacrifices made by our supreme leaders. Kumar in his address said that Coal industry in the country has a major stake in the energy sector and Coal India in the coal sector. Coal India has produced 703 million tonnes of coal in the year 2022-23 against the target of 700 million tonnes of coal production. Shankar Nagachari, Director (Technical/ES); Ajay Kumar, Director (Technical/P&D); Sumeet Kumar Sinha, Chief Vigilance Officer; A.K. Rana, Senior Advisor (Mining); GM/HoDs,  JCC members, Union representatives and employees were present.

 

I- Day celebrated at AISECT University

HAZARIBAG: Independence Day was celebrated with enthusiasm in the AISECT University. On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. PK Nayak, unfurled the national flag and saluted the tricolour. After the National Anthem and National Song, Vice Chancellor Dr. PK Nayak highlighted the importance of freedom and said that the freedom that was achieved after difficulties, sacrifices and long struggles is priceless for all of us Indians, but it is also necessary to keep in mind that The contribution of every Indian is important to fulfill the dream that our freedom fighters had seen for the country. On the other hand, Registrar of AISECT University, Dr. Munish Govind said that today's youth should take inspiration from the lives of brave martyrs and great freedom fighters of the country who sacrificed their lives for the country. Along with this, we should also take a pledge for nation building, development and defense of the country.

 

Loyola School celebrates I-Day

Jamshedpur: Loyola School, Jamshedpur ignited the flames of patriotism and unity as it celebrated India's 77th Independence Day with unparalleled enthusiasm. In his address, Fr Vinod Fernandes spoke passionately to the students, urging them to take immense pride in their motherland. Drawing from the timeless verses of Rabindranath Tagore's poem "Where the mind is without fear," he kindled the students' aspirations to contribute to making India the utopia that the visionary poet had envisioned.

 

3 brothers slip in goaf, saved

 

Dhanbad: Three brothers  Arun, Tarun and Varun all aged between 10 to 15 and son of Shyam Bhuinya resident of Jogta 11 no basti under Jogta PS slipped into a goaf  that was created with a bang in their house while they were sleeping on Monday night. These  were   saved by fellow villagers  and are undergoing treatment at SNMMCH. Around 200 families reside in this locality that is threatened by subsidence due to underground fire.

 

Commissioner hoists Tricolour in Hazaribag


North Chotanagpur Divisional Commissioner Suman Catherine Kispotta unfurled the national flag during the main function of the division in Hazaribag stadium on Independence Day. She inspected the parade and took the salute during the march past. All the officers including DIG, DC and SP were present at the time of flag hoisting. On this occasion the chief guest commissioner said that we must complete the dreams of every person in the society. The government plans must reach to the last person of the society.
