Governor CP Radhakrishnan, while interacting with the villagers of Dumarchir in Amdapada block of Pakur district, said that be it the scheme of the Central Government or the State Government, their aim is to raise the standard of living of even the last person standing in the society. He said that the Central Government is committed to provide pure drinking water to every family under the Nal-Jal Yojana. So far 37 per cent families have been covered by this scheme, the remaining 67 per cent families will be covered. The Governor said that he has visited several Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalayas and other schools and has seen smart classes, VR labs, libraries, open gyms etc and has interacted with the girl students there. The Governor also went to see the barbatti production and sale of 'Gutu Galang Kalyan Trust' run by Vishisht Tribe Sakhi Mandal in Pakur district along with other produced materials and methodology.
