A 58-year-old Sagar Sao working on the post of TR Category-1, died while on duty on Saturday morning in the Tarmi mine of SDOCM project of CCL Dhori area. He was a resident of Dhauda below Makoli.
According to the information, Sagar Sao suddenly fell unconscious at the workplace and his colleagues immediately took him to Central Hospital Dhori where the doctors declared him dead after investigation. The cause of death was said to be heart attack,added sources.
As soon as the news of the employee's death was received, a crowd of people gathered in the hospital. On behalf of CCL management, Area Security Officer Sitaram Udke and Personnel Manager Md Taukir Alam reached the hospital and took information.
At the same time, union leaders Girijashankar Pandey, Mahendra Kumar Vishwakarma, R Unesh, Vikas Singh, Mithilesh Tiwari, Shivanandan Chauhan, Vinay Singh, Rajeshwar Singh, Baijnath Mahato, Parvez Akhtar, Vinod Chauhan, Kunj Bihari Prasad, Ujjwal Mukherjee, Maghu Paswan reached the spot along with Chandan Ram, Om Prakash Chauhan.
During the meeting with the management, they demanded to provide jobs to the dependents of the deceased. Meanwhile, Dhori regional management has started the process of providing appointment letters and other facilities to the deceased's son Vishal Kumar.
