For the smooth conduct of Assembly Elections-2023, one air ambulance and 2 helicopters will be deployed for emergency services on November 16 and 17. Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan said that an air ambulance will be available in Gondia (Maharashtra) before the polling day on 16th November from 11 am to 4 pm and later, after leaving Gondia, it will be available in Jabalpur till the completion of polling on November 17.
After this the air ambulance will leave for Gondia. Similarly, one helicopter will be kept in Balaghat on 16th and 17th November till the completion of voting and another helicopter will be available all the time in Bhopal. Air ambulance and helicopters will be used for any type of emergency services as and when required. The Aviation Directorate has directed Collectors of Balaghat, Jabalpur, Bhopal and Airport Director Gondia to make necessary arrangements in this regard.
