: Ahead of the festive season, Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has gifted four pairs of new trains in the South Eastern Railway (SER) Division.
Vaishnaw said this is the first time the Tata- Badampahar/Rairangpur area would have mail , express train connectivity. It was a long pending demand of the area and would fulfil the aspirations of local people.
The trains are the Shalimar(Kolkata - Badampahar-Shalimar(Kolkata) Weekly Express . The train would leave Shalimar at 23.05 hours every Saturday and would reach Badampahar at 05.40 hours, the next day. In the return direction, Badampahar-Shalimar Express would leave Badampahar at 21.30 hours every Sunday and would arrive at Shalimar at 05.00 hours, the next day.
The Badampahar-Rourkela-Badampahar Weekly Express. The train would leave Badampahar at 06.10 hours every Sunday and wou;ld reach Rourkela at 11.40 hours, the same day. In the return direction, Rourkela-Badampahar Express would leave Rourkela at 14.20 hours every Sunday and would arrive Badampahar at 19.25 hours, the same day.
The Rourkela- Tatanagar-Rourkela.. The train would leave Rourkela at 04.50 hours daily except Sundays and would reach Tatanagar at 09.15 hours, the same day. In the return direction, Tatanagar-Rourkela train would leave Tatanagar at 15.25 hours daily except Sundays and would arrive at Rourkela at 19.35 hours, the same day.
The Tatanagar-Badampahar-Tatanagar . The train would Tatanagar-Badampahar train would leave Tatanagar at 09.55 hours daily except Sundays and would reach Badampahar at 12.15 hours, the same day. In the return direction, Badampahar – Tatanagar train would leave Badampahar at 12.45 hours daily except Sundays and would arrive atTatanagar at 15.20 hrs the same day.
