11th conference of National Ophthalmic Association of India concludes in Hazaribag

The two-day 11th National conference of Ophthalmic Association of India was over in Aranya Vihar of Hazaribag. In the conference more than 300 eye specialists participated from all across the country. The specialised eye doctors discussed modern techniques of the eye related problems and their treatment with modern technique.

The conference was inaugurated by National President of the association Dr. SP Yadav by lighting the lamp. The conference was organized under the banner of the Jharkhand chapter of the organization.

In the scientific session the experts gave their views regarding the treatment and the surgical operation of the eyes. Eye specialist Dr. Bibhuti Kashyap  expressed his views. He said that in an accident if the cornea becomes damaged then it can be transplanted, if all the internal systems are running smoothly.

The chief guest of the conference National President Yadav said the conference was scheduled two year before but due to Corona, now it will be held every year in the different states of the country.

He further said that now- a- days most of the surgeons are using modern techniques in the surgery of the eyes. We have discussed different views, which came during the conference. We will consult with the specialist doctors of different Western countries then implement in India.

In the conference Pritam Kumar, Ramesh Prasad, Abhimanu Kumar and Dr. Surendra Yadav were the chief speakers. In the conference Jharkhand Chapter president Dr. Vinay Krishna Sinha, treasurer Dr. Uma Shankar secretary Dr. Sanjay Kumar and Suresh Kumar Played a vital role in the success of the conference.

The election of the association was also held under the supervision of  Dr.SP Yadav, Dr. Vinay Kumar Sinha of Dhanbad became chairman, general secretary Harpal Singh of Punjab, vice president Dr. Rahul Patel of Gujrat, joint secretary Dr. Abhimanyu Kumar of Ranchi  and treasurer Dr. Anirudh Kumar Sangar have been elected. The members of the executive committee will be announced later on. The members have decided that the next conference will be held at Puri.
