Telecom Complaint Management System was inaugurated on Monday by BK Tiwari, Executive Director (Works). Chief General Manager (Maintenance) Ved Prakash, CGM (Services) Anil Kumar, CGM (C&A) BK Sartape, CGM (Security & Fire Services) Amarendra Jha, General Manager-in-Charge (Electronics & Telecom) S. Gangopadhyay along with other senior officers of Electronics and Telecom Department were present. On this occasion, ED Tiwari while encouraging the entire team of DoT for this work said that this online tool will increase the productivity and efficiency of the personnel as well as bring transparency in the system. He stressed on the need to develop such online management tools which would strengthen the ongoing digitization drive at Bokaro Steel Plant.
It is noteworthy that the online tool consists of a web portal and an Android application developed under the MAITRI program by the Project Associates of JGCE under the guidance of Ravi Kant Ravi, Senior Manager (Electronics & Telecom). Prior to the implementation of this project, telecommunication related complaints within the plant were registered only through the telecom operators in normal shift, due to which many complaints remained unregistered resulting in hardships to the customers. Thus with the launch of this Android application and online web portal, users will no longer be dependent on operators to register complaints related to telecom. Now online complaints related to MAX, CCTV and Rail Road Warning System can be registered 24X7 through this system.
