Chhattisgarh Police on Saturday seized 900 kg of cannabis valued at Rs 1 crore and arrested a man during a raid on a godown in Takhatpur town in Bilaspur district. Bilaspur Superintendent of Police Prashant Agrawal told The Pioneer over telephone that Harish Sahu of Takhatpur has been taken into custody.
The accused told the police that he brought the contraband from Odisha and it was to be supplied in Chhattisgarh, the officer said.
