The Baleswar Sadar police have detained two persons, including the manager of the local Covid Hospital, for allegedly misbehaving with a nurse working at the healthcare facility.
As per a police complaint lodged by the nurse working at the Covid Hospital, manager Sachidananda Padhi sent her objectionable messages and videos on mobile phone.
She further alleged that Padhi forced her to talk to him during duty hours and threatened her of suspending her if she refused to do so.
The nurse also alleged that pharmacists of the hospital misbehaved with 14 nurses appointed at the hospital. Acting on the complaint, which was also signed by the other nurses, police have detained Padhi and one of the pharmacists for questioning.
