Amidst the lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19, Himgiri Zee University has been conducting online classes for its students.
On March 24, class group on Whatsapp and group email were activated. Students were intimated that classes will be held on daily basis with the pre-published time table. Students were advised to create Zoom, Skype ID for class interaction.
The university has been conducting regular online classes for its students through different platforms.
The university also thanked the Tata Consultancy Services for offering its online platform (TCS ION) free of cost to all Indian institutions and many departments have shifted to TCS ION for academic delivery.
The university vice chancellor professor Rakesh Ranjan assured students that the university will ensure that their studies are not hampered. While all the theoretical classes will be completed online, practical classes will be conducted once the students report to campus after normalisation of the situation.
