Haryana Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister, Rao Narbir Singh on Tuesday directed the officers concerned to run a special campaign to fulfill the government's target to make the roads of the state free of potholes.
“The work should be monitored at headquarters level. Officers from Junior Engineer to the Chief Engineer should monitor every single kilometer of road and make sure to fill all the potholes immediately,” directed Rao Narbir Singh while presiding over a review meeting with officers of the Department, here,
The Minister said that recently the Chief Minister Manohar Lal has approved construction of 51 Road Over Bridges (ROBs) and Road Under Bridges (RUBs). The Chief Minister himself is taking cognizance of timely construction of these ROBs and RUBs, he said.
Rao Narbir said that after completing the tender process, the files of estimation of all kinds of work should be cleared within one week.
