Khattar takes jibe at Cong’s dynasty rule

Friday, 11 October 2019 | PNS | Chandigarh/Fatehabad

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday lashed out at the Congress over its dynastic politics. "What else would be a better example of dynasty in the Congress than this...when president left his post, he had to find a new president and could not find anyone outside the Gandhi family and finally Sonia Gandhi was given the reins of the party," Khattar said.

Slamming the previous Congress Government in the state from 2004 to 2014, he said jobs were sold in previous Governments, due to which the confidence of the youth was low. "But after the formation of our Government, the same youth are moving towards the coaching centre and library," Khattar said who is contesting the polls from the Karnal Assembly segment.

Khattar claimed that Congress will be reduced to four seats in the Assembly elections.

He reminded the tenure of Congress and the INLD by stating how the non-BJP Governments during the last 48 years gave jobs to the youth through favouritism,  spreading corruption in the State.

Khattar said that he himself has held rallies for 25 assembly constituencies so far while Congress leaders are yet to start electioneering. The Chief Minister said that Congress has replaced its president before the start of political war in the State. He accused the Congress Party of selling tickets in crores of rupees as its former president Ashok Tanwar revealed recently.

The Chief Minister in his address appealed to the people to vote only after analysing the tenure of previous governments and the tenure of the present BJP Government.
