No trace of missing boy

The police failed to trace Jayesh Jaivardhan who was reportedly kidnapped on Monday evening while he was on way back to home from tuition class. A case of kidnapping has been registered in Bariatu Police station.

“Since no calls were made after Monday night we could not trace his location. We have questioned his friends however to no avail,” said DSP Sadar Satyavir Singh. On Monday night Jayesh left the teachers residence at Kusum Vihar in Morhabdi for his home Boriya, however, he did not reach his home. On the same evening his father Krishna Kumar Tiwari got a call from an unidentified person who demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakh to release Jayesh. However, the cell phone could not be traced on the second day of the incident as the kidnapper supposedly switched it off to mislead police. According to sources, the mobile was traced to be somewhere in Morhabadi when the last call was made.
