Rare Buffalo in Bangladesh goes viral for resemblance to Donald Trump

A rare albino buffalo in Bangladesh has become an internet sensation after people claimed it bears a striking resemblance to former US President Donald Trump.
The nearly 700-kilogram buffalo, nicknamed “Donald Trump”, has been drawing large crowds in the Paikpara area of Narayanganj ahead of Eid al-Adha. Videos of the animal have gone viral on social media, with many users pointing to its golden-coloured hair and facial features that resemble the American leader.
The buffalo’s owner, Ziauddin Mridha, said the animal was purchased from a cattle market in Rajshahi around 10 months ago. According to him, the nickname was first suggested jokingly by his younger brother after noticing the buffalo’s hairstyle-like tuft of hair.
“He is very calm in nature. Albino buffaloes are generally peaceful and do not become aggressive unless provoked,” Mridha said.
Locals visiting the farm appeared amused by the comparison. Several residents said the buffalo’s facial structure and hairstyle looked surprisingly similar to Trump’s appearance.
One visitor said she initially believed the comparison was exaggerated after seeing videos online, but changed her opinion after seeing the buffalo in person. Another resident remarked that the buffalo “really does look like Trump”.
The owner also revealed that the viral buffalo has already been sold.
Apart from “Donald Trump”, another buffalo at the farm has also grabbed attention. Weighing more than 750 kilograms, the animal has been nicknamed Benjamin Netanyahu due to its energetic and aggressive behaviour, according to farm workers.
Albino buffaloes are considered rare in South Asia and are known for their unique appearance and generally gentle temperament.
