Nation First Programme organised at Narangi Military Station

The “Nation First Programme” was organised at Narangi Military Station on 27 February 2026 under the aegis of Headquarters 51 sub area. The event was graced by Laxman Prasad Acharya, Governor of Assam, who attended the programme as the Chief Guest.During the event, a detailed presentation on “Operation Sindoor” – A Case Study of Civil-Military Liaison was conducted, highlighting the synergy and coordinated efforts between civil administration and the Indian Army in service of the nation.
The Governor also felicitated distinguis-hed civil and military personnel for their exemplary contributions towards Nation Building. A weapon display organised by the Indian Army showcased the force’s operational capabilities and technological advancements, drawing keen interest from attendees. Addressing the gathering, the Governor shared his valuable insights on the theme “Nation First”, emphasising unity, dedication and collective responsibility in strengthening the nation.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation by troops of the Indian Army and received an overwhelming response from the cadets of the National Cadet Corps and volunteers of the National Social Service Scheme, reflecting the spirit of patriotism and commitment among the youth. The event reaffirmed the unwavering resolve of the armed forces and civil society to work together towards the progress, security and development of the nation.
