Massive fire breaks out at Ranchi restaurant

A massive fire broke out at Levee Bar & Restaurant in Ranchi’s Karamtoli area early Tuesday morning, reducing the establishment to ashes and triggering panic among local residents.
According to officials, the incident took place around 4 a.m. Thick smoke and high flames engulfed the restaurant, prompting nearby residents to alert the police and fire department immediately.
Several fire tenders rushed to the spot, and firefighters battled the blaze for hours before finally bringing it under control. Due to the intensity of the fire, furniture, kitchen equipment and other valuables inside the restaurant were completely destroyed.
Preliminary investigations suggest that a short circuit may have caused the fire. Authorities said the restaurant was closed at the time of the incident, and no staff members or customers were present inside the premises.
No casualties or injuries have been reported, providing relief amid fears of a major tragedy. However, officials believe the restaurant suffered extensive financial losses.
