MahaIT hosts TechMahaImpact 2026 to strengthen digital governance

The Maharashtra Information Technology Corporation Ltd, Government of Maharashtra, in collaboration with Elets Technomedia, successfully organised the TechMahaImpact 2026 conclave in Mumbai, bringing together policymakers, technology leaders, industry representatives, and CSR stakeholders to accelerate Maharashtra’s digital transformation journey.
The conclave was inaugurated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in the august presence of Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar.
During the event, 24 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed, mobilising CSR partnerships worth Rs 155.75 crore for various citizen-centric digital and social impact initiatives across the state.
The conclave highlighted Maharashtra’s commitment to leveraging advanced digital platforms such as Maha Sarathi and Aaple Sarkar to strengthen governance delivery, transparency, accessibility, and citizen empowerment.
The event also reinforced the State’s vision of building a digitally inclusive and future-ready Maharashtra under the broader mission of “Viksit Maharashtra 2047.”
Inaugurating the event, CM Devendra Fadnavis said, “Maharashtra is one state which generates the highest amount of CSR funds. Most of these funds are deployed for meaningful activities. It has been our endeavour to see that these impactful deployments happen across the geographies in Maharashtra. Through platforms like TechMahaImpact, we are ensuring that technology, innovation, and CSR partnerships come together to create real grassroots-level impact and strengthen inclusive development across the state.” Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Katkar said, “TechMahaImpact 2026 reflects Maharashtra’s commitment to harnessing technology and strategic partnerships for inclusive governance and citizen empowerment. The collaboration between government, industry, and CSR stakeholders will help accelerate digital innovation and ensure that technology-driven public services reach every section of society efficiently and transparently.”
