J&K gets Rs 8,000 crore projects

Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, on Tuesday said that projects worth nearly Rs 8,000 crore have been approved for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, which is a historic achievement in a single year.
Attending a gathering at Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre, the Union Minister handed over the sanction letter of PMGSY-IV (Batch II) package worth Rs 3,566 crore to the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
