CID raids JSSC office over Jharkhand exam irregularities

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Monday, August 17, began raids at the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) office here as part of its probe into alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations, an officer said.
CID Additional Director General Manoj Kaushik confirmed to PTI that the raids were being conducted in connection with alleged irregularities in various examinations.
The raids come as job aspirants have been protesting for 24 days against alleged irregularities in multiple recruitment exams in Jharkhand.
The state probe agency has so far arrested 20 people in connection with the alleged irregularities, including former Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) Chairman L Khiangte.
