Swiggy rolls out AI assistant 'Guru' for restaurant partners

Food delivery aggregator Swiggy on Monday, August 17, announced the rollout of an AI assistant called "Guru" for its restaurant partners, aimed at helping them track payouts and monitor campaign performance. The tool is accessible to 2.7 lakh restaurants across more than 720 cities, the company said.
Swiggy said Guru's menu insights feature lets partners add items, generate item descriptions, and identify top-selling products, offering personalised insights by analysing category-wise performance and what works best for each restaurant.
Rohit Kapoor, chief executive officer of Swiggy Food Marketplace, said artificial intelligence has redefined how businesses operate and is driving greater efficiency across industries. He said that after partnering with restaurants for more than 12 years, the company understood the operational demands and constant multi-tasking its partners navigate daily.
