By Pioneer News Service

The Bharatiya Janata Party will hold the oath-taking ceremony for its new government in West Bengal on May 9, state party president Samik Bhattacharya announced on Wednesday.
Addressing reporters, Bhattacharya said the swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Brigade Parade Ground in central Kolkata, starting at 10 am.
“The new BJP government will take oath on May 9 at 10 am,” he confirmed.
The BJP recently secured a decisive victory in the West Bengal Assembly elections, bringing an end to the 15-year rule of the Trinamool Congress in the state.
Preparations for the high-profile event are underway, with party leaders and supporters expected to attend the ceremony in large numbers.
