BJP state president Babulal Marandi targeting CM Hemant Soren on the job calendar issue today said that Soren after his first cabinet meeting, had announced to release the appointment calendar for JPSC and JSSC examinations before January 1, 2025.
The last day of the year is also about to pass, but till now no initiative has been taken to release the exam results or calendar. There is a limit to lying! Respect the dignity of the post of Chief Minister and give up the habit of lying and start transparent implementation of competitive examinations.
Marandi's remarks assume importance as n the first cabinet meeting held within hours of the swearing-in ceremony, Hemant announced that the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) will publish a calendar of its recruitment examinations in December and also complete the appointment process which has been pending due to the imposition of the model code of conduct and other bureaucratic reasons.
Sources in the government hinted that nearly 30,000 posts will be filled within a span of three months following the directive of the chief minister.
The examinations of both JSSC and JPSC might start from January next year based on the calendar. Instructions have been given to both the commissions regarding this by the chief minister’s office,” said a source.
It is expected that a high-level decision can be taken soon on the release of the results of the pending Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Competitive Examination in JSSC and the competitive examination conducted for 26,001 posts of Assistant Acharya in the primary schools of the state.
“With the removal of the model code of conduct provision, JPSC and JSSC will start releasing results of the several competitive examinations pending for months,” added the source.
