Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the government is committed to ensure water for every farm and employment for every hand. Drawing a parallel to the mythical Paras stone that transforms iron into gold, he emphasized that water has the power to turn barren lands into fertile fields. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this vision is being realized through numerous irrigation projects aimed at bringing water to every village and farm across the state. Dr. Yadav reflected on the transformative impact such irrigation facilities could have had if implemented 60-70 years ago, significantly altering the agricultural landscape of the country. Highlighting the vital role of the Narmada River, he referred to Maa Narmada as the lifeline of Madhya Pradesh, especially for the people of the Nimar region. Currently, micro-irrigation is being utilized in Barwani district through the canals of the Indira Sagar Project and the Lower Goi Project in the Narmada Valley. To further expand irrigation coverage, the Sendhwa and Niwali Micro Lift Irrigation Projects have been launched, marking another step toward agricultural prosperity.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the programme organized at Sendhwa Krishi Upaj Mandi premises of Barwani district on Saturday after performing Bhoomi Pujan of Sendhwa Micro Lift Irrigation Project costing Rs. 1402.74 crore and Niwali Micro Lift Irrigation Project to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 1088.24 crores. Naming both the projects, the Chief Minister said that Sendhwa Micro Lift Irrigation Project will be named after Nimar’s Gandhi Ramchandra Vitthal and Niwali Micro Lift Irrigation Project will be named after Tantya Mama.

Minister for Scheduled Caste Welfare Nagarsingh Chauhan, Chairman of National Scheduled Tribe Commission Antarsingh Arya, Rajya Sabha MP  Sumersingh Solanki, Lok Sabha MP Gajendrasingh Patel, former Minister Premsingh Patel along with public representatives, officers and a large number of villagers were present in the programme.

Yadav said that tribal heroes like Tantya Mama, Bhima Nayak fought against the British for the honour of the country. The British trembled at the very mention of their names. We remember their sacrifice and salute them. Our government established a university after Tantya Mama in Khargone within a short span of 3 months of assuming office.

Tantya Mama Yojana has also been started for the welfare of tribals. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced to convert Vangrams into revenue villages for the overall development of the tribal area. He also announced to start an electricity sub-station in Niwali and construction of various new roads.

Yadav said that this is an era of transformation, and the government is dedicated to bringing meaningful change to the lives of every individual. He stated that public welfare remains the foremost goal of the administration. Under the Mukhya Mantri Jankalyan Abhiyan, camps are being organized in every panchayat and ward across the state until January 26, ensuring that citizens receive the benefits of various government schemes. Dr. Yadav reiterated the government’s commitment to the welfare of all sections of society, with a special focus on the poor, women, youth, and farmers. He further affirmed the government's resolve to provide permanent housing for every citizen. A re-survey will be conducted to identify and include those who were previously left out, ensuring that no one is deprived of their right to a secure home.
