Chief Minister Mohan Yadav took a review meeting on the preparations for the upcoming Vikramotsav-2025 and Vikram Trade Fair in the meeting hall of the Smart City Office in Ujjain on Tuesday. In the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the Vikram Trade Fair is an important effort towards strengthening the economy of the state. Samrat Vikramaditya is a unique example of justice, charity, good governance and bravery. He was a great ruler. He not only defeated the foreign invaders and drove them out of the country but has a special place in all areas of good governance. His courage, valour and efforts, his stories, the Vikram Samvat started by him, are linked as an important chapter in his great history. The Chief Minister said in the meeting that instructions were given to prepare an action plan to make Ujjain a center of sculpture.
The Madhya Pradesh government has started work in various fields to bring the various dimensions of Samrat Vikramaditya in front of the country and abroad. A grand event will be organized in Ujjain in the coming days on the occasion of the initiation of Vikram Samvat of Samrat Vikramaditya. A seminar will be organized in the university on his Nyay Parampara. The government will provide platforms to investors in the Vikram trade fair. There are immense possibilities in the field of tourism in the state, these will be developed further. The number of religious tourists has increased tremendously in Ujjain.
Chief Minister Yadav reviewed the preparations of Vikram Trade Fair and Vikramotsav. Collector Shri Neeraj Kumar Singh gave basic information about the Vikram Trade Fair organized last year through a power point presentation. It was told that selection of the Government Engineering College campus for organizing the Vikram Trade Fair this year has been proposed. In the meeting, information was given about the proposed layout of the site for Vikram Trade Fair-2025, information about the proposed shops and other necessary arrangements regarding the event. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in this year's trade fair, special promotion will also be given to auto expo and religious tourism. The Chief Minister said that the purpose of organizing the fair is that everyone meet each other, takes a pledge for a new life and happiness comes in everyone’s life.
