Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid the foundation for the nation's development on the empowerment of the poor, youth, farmers, and women (GYAN). Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the Madhya Pradesh government has crafted separate blueprints for the comprehensive development of these four pillars, with a resolution to shape the state's holistic growth by 2025. These efforts include the Poor Welfare Mission, Youth Power Mission, Farmer Welfare Mission, and Women Empowerment Mission, which will be launched by Chief Minister Yadav in January.
Yadav firmly believes that strengthening these four pillars will script a golden chapter in the development of Madhya Pradesh.
Yuva Shakti Mission initiative aims to equip the younger generation with skills in emerging technologies, entrepreneurship, and sports, preparing them for the evolving job market and fostering leadership qualities. Women Empowerment Mission is focused on providing financial independence, educational opportunities, and entrepreneurship incentives to women, this mission seeks to make women self-reliant and promote gender equality in the state. Farmer Welfare Mission emphasizes agricultural diversification, integrating allied activities like animal husbandry and fisheries, and promoting agri-entrepreneurship through financial support and technical guidance, transforming farming into a profitable venture. Poor Welfare Mission is designed to assist economically weaker communities, this mission will break the vicious circle of poverty through financial aid, land rights, and social security measures.
Together, these missions aim to pave the way for a prosperous and golden Madhya Pradesh.
Yadav believes that the Yuva Shakti Mission will serve as a strong foundation for youth empowerment. The mission aims to cultivate qualities of education, skill development, and community service among the youth. It will also enhance their ability to utilize modern technology effectively. As a result, it will foster successful and capable leadership qualities in them.
The role of modern technology is pivotal in the successful implementation of the Yuva Shakti Mission. To ensure that skill development courses are easily accessible and comprehensible for young people, the government has launched online platforms. These platforms ensure that the mission's facilities are equally accessible to youth in both rural and urban areas.
To further the mission's success, the government has also devised an effective strategy to leverage social media. Through these platforms, youth will easily receive information related to the mission, enhancing their awareness and engagement. The Youth Power Mission aspires to build a generation equipped with skills, leadership qualities, and a commitment to driving societal progress.
The Women Empowerment Mission is designed to improve the socio-economic conditions of women in the state. The mission aims to ensure gender equality by providing women with opportunities equal to those of men, fostering an inclusive society in the state.
Under the mission, vocational training will be offered to women for education and skill development. This will enhance their employability, improve their career prospects, and lead to financial independence. The mission also aims to promote women's entrepreneurship by providing resources, guidance, and financial support to help them establish and efficiently run their businesses.
To address gender-specific issues such as domestic violence and dowry harassment, the mission includes programs for social empowerment. It will raise awareness about women's rights and create a supportive environment. Additionally, one-stop centers will be established to offer women legal aid, counseling, and medical assistance.
