Bairagarh police have booked a youth for sexually exploiting a girl on the pretext of marriage, after physically exploiting her, the accused refused to marry her.

Later when the girl's marriage was scheduled with another youth, the accused told the fiance about his relationship with the girl, due to which the marriage got broke.

According to Bairagarh police, the 22-year-old girl, a resident of Vidisha, works in a private job in Bhopal. Three years ago, she became acquainted with Suraj Baghel, who worked with her. In August 2022, Suraj took the girl to a hotel in Bairagarh and raped her. After this, he continued to physically exploit her on the pretext of marriage.

Later he refused to marry. Some time ago, the girl's got engaged with another youth. When Suraj came to know, he told the girl's fiancé about his relationship, due to which his relationship broke. The police have registered a case of rape and started searching for the accused.

Meanwhile Kamla Nagar police have booked a man for sexually assaulting a 35-year-old married woman, the accused is yet to be arrested.

According to Kamla Nagar police, the 35-year-old woman was previously acquainted with Shivendra Tripathi. During this time, Shivendra started sexually exploiting the woman by luring her with marriage. When Shivendra refused to marry her, the woman married another man.

After some time of marriage, Shivendra started harassing the woman. The woman lodged a complaint and based on the complaint FIR against Shivendra for rape and molestation.
