In a touching moment during his Jan Sampark Abhiyan on Monday, Congress candidate Dr. Ajoy Kumar was moved to tears when a young girl from Sitaramdera handed him her piggy bank as a gesture of support for his campaign. Dr. Ajoy , who conducted outreach in Sitaramdera, Nirmal Nagar, Hume Pipe Basti, Burmamines, and Cable Basti, was visibly emotional upon receiving the heartfelt gift, symbolizing the hope and trust the people have placed in him.
Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Ajoy shared, “I am overwhelmed by the love and affection shown by the people of Jamshedpur. The warmth of this community inspires me, and I am committed to serving them with integrity.” He emphasized that his campaign is driven by the people's desire for change after 25 years of perceived neglect and disorder.
Dr. Ajoy assured residents that, if elected, he would prioritize safe drinking water, improved civic amenities, and, most importantly, fulfill the 25-year-old dream of granting ownership rights to residents of local slums. He pledged to establish a commission to secure these rights in the first cabinet meeting after the government is formed.
“The people of Jamshedpur are not just supporters; they are the ones truly leading this campaign,” he said. “I am merely a medium for their voice, working to make Jamshedpur a safer and more developed city.”
