In recognition of World Sepsis Day, Brahmananda Narayana Hospital ,Jamshedpur organised an awareness program about sepsis, a life-threatening medical emergency that affects millions of people each year. The event aimed to educate both the public and healthcare professionals about the importance of early diagnosis and treatment in preventing sepsis-related deaths.
Throughout the day, the hospital hosted a series of activities, including health screenings, and expert-led talks that focused on the symptoms, prevention, and treatment of sepsis.
Facility Director Vinit Raj, Clinical Director Dr M.L.Ali, Medical Superintendent Dr. Mukesh Kumar & Critical Care specialist Dr Sunil Kedia were present in the program.

The hospital also emphasized its ongoing commitment to combating sepsis through advanced medical technology and training for staff.
The hospital’s ICU team demonstrated its new protocols designed to rapidly identify and treat patients at risk of developing sepsis.
In line with this year’s theme, “Save lives, Stop Suffering,” BNH encourages everyone to learn the symptoms of sepsis, including fever, rapid heart rate, confusion, and difficulty breathing, and to seek medical help immediately if they suspect sepsis.
