A watchlist goon and his accomplice assaulted and stripped down a youth who was also made to bow down at their feet by opening fire at Industrial Area, Ashoka Garden police have started investigation.
A video of a youth being kidnapped and assaulted has surfaced in Ashoka Garden area, it is alleged that Deepak Thakur and Rohit Kabadi, who are included in the goon list of Ashoka Garden police station, along with their associates kidnapped the youth from in front of Gautam Nagar police station, then took him to a closed factory in the industrial area in a car. Here he was stripped naked and beer was poured on him. The accused made him bow down at their feet.
The incident was on August 13. The victim's mother has complained about this matter to the Police Commissioner's office on October 1.
Earlier, a complaint had been made to the DCP office, Additional DCP office demanding action against the accused. But, the FIR was not registered.
The victim's name is Gaurav Mishra he lives in Nizamuddin Colony Piplani police station area and works as contractor providing labourer for work.
On the night of August 12, there was a friend's birthday party in a restaurant located in the Bilkhiriya area. Here all the friends were dancing and singing. Accused Deepak Thakur was sitting at a nearby table.
Deepak Thakur started abusing them for making noise. There was a minor altercation over this. Then there was a scuffle between the two sides. Deepak Thakur complained about this in Bilkhiriya police station.
The next day, on August 13, Gaurav was sitting with his friends in front of Gautam Nagar police station at DIG Bunglow area during which the accused Rohit Kabadi and with four others arrived on the spot, Gaurav tried to escape. He hid in a nearby house, the accused forcibly dragged him from this house and made him sit in the car and took him to a closed factory in the industrial area.
Deepak Thakur was already sitting in the car. There were 10-12 other people present in the factory. There the accused stripped Gaurav naked. He was beaten up with pipes, sticks and belts. To create pressure, two youths fired three rounds in the air . After this, Deepak was asked to bow down at his feet. He was beaten and forced to touch his feet.
Meanwhile, Gaurav's mother was informed about the kidnapping by his friends. His mother reached the nearest police station, Piplani but her complaint was not heard, the police sent her away from the police station, asking her to go to Gautam Nagar.
During which the accused kept beating Gaurav in a car from the factory located in the industrial area to Katara Hills, AIIMS hospital. He was left in the Katara Hills area at around 6 am on August 14.
One of the accused had booked Ola from his own mobile. He was taken home in this car. Gaurav's mother has complained to all the officials since this incident, but no FIR was registered.
Gaurav's mother is a teacher in a private school, his father does a private job. Five cases of assault have been registered against him in the past. While serious cases like assault, robbery and attempt to murder are registered against Deepak Thakur in Ashoka Garden and other police stations. Accused Rohit Kabadi has recently been released on bail in a murder case. Rohit is also a monitored goon of Ashoka Garden police station.
According to TI Hemant Srivastava, he is not aware of the case. No such complaint has been received in the police station yet. Action will be taken after investigation on receiving the complaint.
