Voluntary blood donation is lifeline for humanity: SN Chaudhary

On the occasion of Voluntary Blood Donation Day, under the aegis of Civil Surgeon, Sadar Hospital and Lohardaga Blood Centre, social organizations doing incomparable work in the field of blood donation were honoured in the auditorium located in the Sadar Hospital premises. In the program, Indian Medical Association President Dr. Ganesh Prasad, Sadar Hospital Vice President Dr. Shambhunath Chaudhary, Blood Bank In-charge and Medical Officer Dr. Parineeta Hora, Dr. Sister Aileen and other guests encouraged people to donate blood with their respective views. Sadar Hospital Vice President Dr. Shambhunath Chaudhary said that voluntary blood donation is a lifeline for humanity.  

Blood donation works to save the lives of people in the society but it is said that blood donation is never done on the basis of religion, society or caste. Therefore, there is no greater work for humanity than this. IMA President Dr. Ganesh Prasad said that today there has been a lot of change in the situation regarding blood donation. The awareness of youth gives a message of enthusiasm. We have to go to remote areas and motivate people to donate blood. Doctor Sister Aileen said that she feels very proud to see the kind of work done in Lohardaga regarding blood donation. Today's youth think more about others than themselves. The program was conducted by Arun Ram, a teacher and associated with many organizations including Indian Red Cross Society, Science for Society, Teachers Association, Emergency Care. The vote of thanks was given by Dr. Vinita Horo, medical officer in charge of the blood bank. 

All the arrangements of the program were done by Umesh Kumar, Vikas Kumar, Saddam Ansari. Emergency Care, VBDA, BJP, Youth Congress, Dutika Savitri Hospital, HDFC Bank, Police Line, Bhandara, KISCO, Lohardaga, Senha CHC, Jai Shri Ram Samiti Amrit Care, HP Gas Agency, Muslim Welfare Society, Lohardaga Nursing Home, participated in the program. IMA, Raji Padha Prayer Sabha, Red Cross Society, B.Ed College, Sant Ursula Hospital, CRPF 158 Battalion, Aviram College, Muslim Youth Committee were honoured. Vikram Chauhan, Amit Verma, Ajita Lakra, Deshraj Goyal, Sajal Kumar, Suresh Thakur, Nikhil Kumar, Nikhil Burman, Sunil Aggarwal, Nischiya Verma, Jayanti Kachhap etc. were present on the occasion.
