University convocation an important stage in students’ life

Saturday, 05 October 2024 | Staff Reporter | BHOPAL

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the university convocation ceremony is an important stage in any student's life.  Those who are limited to just the curriculum can be called teachers, but those who pay attention to the overall personality development of the student, are respectfully addressed as Guru.

Universities provide the necessary environment, facilities, and guidance for the overall personality development of students, hence the Vice Chancellor of the University of the State is now addressed as Kulguru as per Indian tradition.

The enthusiastic atmosphere of educational institutions and the dignity of the convocation ceremony instill self-confidence in the students. Chief Minister Yadav was addressing the 5th annual convocation of VIT Bhopal University at Kothrikalan district Sehore.  He also dedicated the Women's Hostel Block-2 and Men's Hostel Block-6 on the university campus.

Yadav said that Vellore Institute of Technology is one of the best educational institutions in the country. The placement of students who are admitted here is assured. Here the universities of Amaravati, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, along with Bhopal are preparing the Indian youth for the future, which aligns with Prime Minister Modi's vision. Under his leadership and guidance, the country is continuously moving forward with confidence. Prime Minister Modi, the leader of the world's largest democracy, has established India's reputation in the world. His life is dedicated to the country, he is active every moment for the development of the country and public welfare. Prime Minister Modi is dedicated to the goal of enabling the young generation of the country to keep pace with global standards using updated technology. As per his intention and spirit, Vellore Institute of Technology is also playing an important role in this direction.

Yadav said that today foreign students are also coming to study in our institutions. The youth power of the country is the flag bearer of the India of the future. The tradition of scientific thinking and knowledge in India has been quite rich since ancient times, ample examples of it are found in our ancient texts. In struggling with the difficult circumstances of the COVID-19 period, India introduced its strength and intellectual capacity to the entire world. India has shown its potential in all forums like G-20, ASEAN, etc. The Indian economy was ranked 11th in the world in 2014, which is now in fourth position. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India will become the third-largest economy in the world in the next 5 years.

Yadav called upon students to move forward by connecting everyone and working with dedication for their family, society, and country. We ae fortunate that the students from different parts of the country studying in the institute have connections with Madhya Pradesh. He gave his blessings and best wishes to the students for their bright future.
