When the CCTV cameras were checked, two people were seen entering the ATM between 1 and 2 in the night of July 28 They were wearing black helmet and raincoat. One person sprayed on the CCTV cameras while the other was seen tampering with the machine. Within 10 minutes, both were seen carrying away the goods in a black bag.'
During the investigation, it became clear that whoever has committed the theft, has complete knowledge about the ATM machine. There was no vandalism in the machine. It was opened by entering the password. During interrogation of the bank employees, it was found that the private agency had sent Rituraj Singh for the maintenance of the ATM on 26th July.
On the basis of this input, the police took Rituraj into custody. At first, he tried to mislead the police, but broke down when strict action was taken. He accepted that he had stolen the ATM along with Shubham Joshi. He told that he had given some of the stolen money to Shubham without counting it. The rest was hidden at his relative's house in Nalkheda, Agar Malwa.
Rituraj Singh told that he had gone to the ATM gallery for maintenance with the bank employees at around 5 pm on 26th July. During this time, a bank employee opened the machine. At that time, Rituraj saw the password. Later, he wrote it down.
With the help of this password, they opened the machine on the night of 28-29 and committed the theft.
The pictures were captured in the camera of the ATM situated in front
The accused sprayed black paint on the cameras of the ATM gallery so that nothing could be seen in the footage. But they were caught stealing money from another ATM situated in front of the ATM from which they stole money.
