The Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal organized a two-day training of trainers workshop on the Green Climate Fund (GCF), in collaboration with MoEFCC and UNDP. GCF is a global fund established to help developing countries adapt to and mitigate climate change.
The workshop intends to equip the participants from government departments, research organisationsetc with the knowledge and skills necessary to utilise GCF.
The inaugural session was graced by K Ravichandran, Director, IIFM, Bhopal; MsRuchikaDrall, Deputy Secretary, MoEFCC, CP Kala, Chairperson (MDP), IIFM and DrDhanyaBhaskar, Programme Director, IIFM.
This two-day workshop from October 09 to 10, 2024 provided a comprehensive understanding of the GCF's objectives and funding mechanisms and developed effective GCF proposals to the participants.
