Minister of Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste and Backward Class Welfare Department, Chamra Linda, reached Kalyan Complex today and took information about all the schemes implemented by the department with Tribal Welfare Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha and also reviewed their updated work progress. The Minister told the officials that welfare schemes should be made based on the high traditions of tribal culture.
He said that our aim should be to bring the education and health facilities of the tribals to a high standard level. All basic facilities should be made available in Rural Welfare Hospital, Ayurvedic Medical Center and Pahariya Health Centers. Initiatives should be taken to ensure all facilities in residential schools and hostels.
Quality and transparency should be given top priority in the implementation of every scheme running for ST/SC and backward classes. Long-term programs should be prepared for employment and income growth for the youth of ST/SC and backward classes.
Linda emphasized on the speedy completion of all the works in progress. He told the Tribal Welfare Commissioner that all-round development and welfare of the people of all classes and communities including Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes is the priority of the State Government.
He said that the State Government has focused on the development of all areas related to tribal welfare. He told the Tribal Welfare Commissioner that it is our responsibility to fulfil all the set targets by speeding up the work. Complete all the works on time with the thought of taking the eligible beneficiaries forward on the path of development by providing them full benefits of the schemes run by the department.
