The house of the absconding accused Tanjil alias Shooter in the murder of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) leader in Bhopal was demolished on Saturday. The three-storey building was built illegally and was razed at 9 am, the administration and municipal corporation team took action in Panchsheel Nagar in the presence of police force. The accused's shop was also sealed a day earlier.
In the evening of May 17, BJYM divisional vice president Surendra Kushwaha was murdered outside Bhopal Central Jail. So far 8 accused have been arrested in this case. The accused Tanjil alias Shooter, whose house was demolished today, is absconding.
Tanjil had a three-storey house in Panchsheel Nagar. There was also a shed in front of it. There was no permission to build the house.
TT Nagar SDM, ACP, corporation officials reached the spot. Police force was deployed to deal with any ruckus. First of all, the sheds in front of the house were removed. After this, the action of demolishing the three-storey concrete house started. Police also sealed the surrounding area.
SIT was formed to investigate the murder. So far, a total of 8 accused have been arrested including Raghvendra alias Chhotu father Shyamlal Sen resident of Bhim Nagar Arera Hills, Faizal Khan father Mohammad Ashfaq is a resident of Hasnath Nagar, Deepanshu alias Tannu resident of Panchsheel Nagar, Raj father Anil Som Kunwar resident of Panchsheel Nagar and Ajay father Sanjay Paswan resident of Panchsheel Nagar.
The incident is at 5.30 pm on May 17. BJP Yuva Morcha leader Surendra Kushwaha had come to Central Jail to leave his friend Ishu Khare's brother Satish Khare after his parole ended. Ishu and another friend Vikas Verma were also with him.
Accused Sandesh Narware, Akash, Chhota Faizal and Deepanshu Sen and others attacked him in front of Central Jail. Surendra and Ishu were seriously injured. Surendra died in the hospital.
Mukesh Kamli was murdered in 2011. Satish Khare is convicted in the same murder case. The attackers are from Mukesh's gang. They had beaten up BJP Yuva Morcha leader Surendra a few days ago. He did not complain to the police then.
The divisional vice president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha was stabbed to death at the gate of Bhopal Central Jail. The next day, on May 18 after the postmortem, at 1 pm, the family blocked the road and protested by keeping the body on Link Road No. 2. The family wanted Tanjil and Bhura Haddi to be named in the murder case. They had given these names to the police at night.
