SP a production house of rioters and criminals, Akhilesh its CEO: Yogi

Monday, 11 November 2024 | PNS | Ambedkarnagar MirzapurPrayagraj

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Sunday, took a swipe at Akhilesh Yadav’s PDA plank, terming it as “Production house of Dangai (rioters) and Apradhi (criminals)”.

He also said that the ‘CEO’ (chief executive officer) of this production house was Akhilesh Yadav and Shivpal Singh Yadav its “trainer”, with all criminals “business partners” in the party.

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav had coined the acronym ‘PDA’ for the ‘Pichhde’ (backwards), Dalits and ‘Alpsakhyak’ (minorities) during the 2022 assembly polls and he has been using it since the general election earlier this year.

“Samajwadi Party talks about PDA. Let me tell you what PDA is. It is the Production house of Dangai (rioters) and Apradhi (criminals). We are giving you this new definition. The bigger a criminal is, the bigger a rioter is, they are part of Samajwadi Party’s production house,” he said

The Katehari assembly seat in Ambedkar Nagar district is among the nine seats in Uttar Pradesh going to the polls. The election was necessitated after Samajwadi Party MLA Lalji Verma was elected to Lok Sabha.

"Every dreaded criminal, mafia, rapist is born in this production house. And Akhilesh Yadav is its CEO,” Yogi said, referring to allegations against Samajwadi Party leaders in rape cases in Ayodhya and Kannauj.

He also alleged the SP tried to save the man accused in the Ayodhya rape case.

“Dekh Sapai, bitiya ghabrai (daughters are scared when they see Samajwadi Party leaders),” he said in another rally at Majhawan in Mirzapur district. Here, sitting MLA Dr Vinod Bind is now a Lok Sabha member.

"Whether it was Atiq Ahmed of Prayagraj, Mukhtar Ansari of Ghazipur, Khan Mubarak of Ambedkar Nagar... all of them were the products of the Samajwadi Party's production house. All of them were business partners of the Samajwadi Party in crime. They looted the poor, captured the land of the weak and disrupted social harmony,” he said, adding that the double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party at the state and the Centre ended their era.

Later,  addressing an election rally at Tilak Inter College  grounds in Kotwa in Phulpur assembly constituency in Prayagraj district in  support of BJP candidate Deepak Patel,

Accusing the Samajwadi Party of giving patronage to the mafia, Yogi said after Independence, the socialist movement was started with  values and ideals and people like Jayaprakash Narayan, Dr Ram Manohar Lohia, Acharya Narendra Dev, Chandra Shekhar, Janeshwar Mishra, Mohan Singh were associated with the movement, but today, the SP had deteriorated into a gathering of criminals and mfaia,

Yogi said that earlier the money of the public used to go to the Saifai family and their agents.  He also alleged that the murder of MLA Krishnanand Rai in 2006 was committed at the behest of the SP, and so was Raju Pal’s in Prayagraj.

Yogi asked what was the compulsion of Congress and INDI Alliance in the withdrawal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. “The government of Jammu and Kashmir has passed a resolution for the withdrawal of Article 370. This Article 370 is being withdrawn to promote terrorism. The Narendra Modi government will never let it return. There will be one symbol and one Constitution in the whole country,” Yogi said.

Yogi said that Prime Minister Modi had changed the image and destiny of the country in ten years.  He said the double-engine government was working without stopping and without getting tired. He said UP was earlier known for anarchy and riots and there was a crisis of identity, the honour of daughters and sisters was not safe, farmers used to commit suicide, traders were insecure, youths did not get jobs as they were auctioned, but this image of the state had been changed by the BJP which stood of peace and prosperity if the people.

Nine UP assembly seats are going to bypolls — Katehari (Ambedkar Nagar), Karhal (Mainpuri), Meerapur (Muzaffarnagar), Ghaziabad, Majhawan (Mirzapur), Sisamau (Kanpur Nagar), Khair (Aligarh), Phulpur (Prayagraj), and Kundarki (Moradabad).

Eight of these seats fell vacant after their MLAs were elected to Lok Sabha while bypoll is being held on the Sisamau seat due to the disqualification of SP MLA Irfan Solanki, who was convicted in a criminal case.

In the 2022 assembly polls, Sisamau, Katehari, Karhal, Milkipur and Kundarki were held by the SP, while the BJP had won Phulpur, Ghaziabad, Majhawan and Khair.

The Meerapur seat was held by the RLD, which is now an ally of the BJP in the NDA.

The Congress is not contesting the bypolls and supporting its INDIA bloc partner SP, while the Bahujan Samaj Party is contesting solo on all nine seats.
