The crowd of people is increasing in the National Khadi and Saras Mela going on at Morhabadi Ground in Ranchi. Due to pleasant weather today, a large number of people reached the fair to shop. People coming from Khadi Mela are being given information about government schemes at the stalls of government departments. Information about Aabha App is being given under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. Through this app we can digitally connect and access all our health records. At the same time, a stall has also been set up by the District Tuberculosis Committee in which people are being informed about TB and other diseases.
Products of women of Sakhi Mandal remain the center of attraction in the National Khadi and Saras Mahotsav 2024-25. Rural women are getting an opportunity to display their products and get economic empowerment in Khadi Mela. Soni Kumari of Ramgarh impressed everyone with her artwork made from wheat stalks. At the same time, people are liking the Peda of Guddi Devi of Deoghar very much.
In the fair, the sisters of Sakhi Mandal have not only displayed their hard work and art through their products, but have also taken steps towards economic self-reliance.
