In a pioneering move, the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) today launched an Augmented Reality (AR) booklet, designed to offer an immersive experience and provide insights into the company's vast range of products and achievements. The booklet was unveiled by the Board of Directors of SAIL in the presence of Chairman Amarendu Prakash.
The booklet uses cutting-edge Web AR technology, allowing users to interact with SAIL’s products and learn about the company in a dynamic and engaging way. This initiative aims to bring SAIL closer to its stakeholders by offering an innovative approach to understanding the company’s extensive offerings and capabilities.
Atanu Bhowmik, Director In-Charge of Rourkela Steel Plant, along with other dignitaries, attended the launch event, adding to the occasion’s significance. The AR booklet is expected to enhance the way people engage with and understand SAIL's legacy in the steel industry.
