At coal capital marking a new chapter in the administration of Dhanbad as  Saadat Anwar took charge as the new District Development Commissioner (DDC) . In a ceremonial event held at the district headquarters, Anwar officially assumed his duties, succeeding the former DDC,  Shashi Prakash Singh.

Amidst a gathering of officials and staff,  Anwar expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve the people of Dhanbad. He articulated his vision for the district, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and innovation in addressing the developmental challenges ahead. He further  emphasized prioritizing the accomplishment of targets under the Abua Housing Scheme and its implementation on the ground.

Prior to his appointment as DDC, Anwar has held various administrative positions, showcasing his experience and dedication to public service. His tenure is expected to bring a fresh perspective and renewed energy to the administration, as he pledges to work tirelessly towards the holistic development of Dhanbad. 

Meanwhile, the outgoing Deputy Commissioner highlighted efforts made to accelerate various projects in remote rural areas, including road construction, four-walled schools, and the establishment of model schools. Present at the occasion were officials including Forest Division Officer Vikas Paliwal, Director DRDA Hema Prasad, Office Superintendent of the DDC Office Om Prakash Singh, Project Officer of MGNREGA Manoj Kumar, and other staff members.

As Anwar assumes his new role, the residents of Dhanbad look forward to a promising future under his leadership, filled with progress and prosperity for all.
