A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Bokaro district administration and Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) Dhori region for the Damage Remediation Plan and Natural and Community Resource Augmentation Plan. The agreement involves a fund of 111 crore, which will be utilized for various community welfare initiatives.
The signing took place at the office chamber of Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav, with the district administration represented by Shakti Kumar, District Disaster Management Officer and CSR Nodal Officer, and CCL Dhori by Ranjay Sinha, General Manager.
Key officials from CCL, including Shailesh Prasad, Project Officer, and Achyutanand Kumar, Nodal Officer (Forest and Environment), were present at the event.
The MoU is specifically related to the Selected Dhori Opencast Project of the Dhori region and aims to enhance community and environmental resources while addressing remediation needs effectively.
