An RPF jawan of Garhwa Road post under the command of the inspector incharge RPF Banarasi Yadav found out the baggage of a passenger who got down at the Daltonganj railway station from the Ranchi Chopan intercity express train leaving his bag in a bogie.
Banarasi Yadav said the passenger Nitesh Kumar, 29, of Dumka district had boarded this train at Barkakana to reach Daltonganj.
The passenger did get down from the train leaving behind his baggage in the bogie. Nervous and worried passenger approached RPF at Daltonganj which offered the passenger all possible help.
On arrival of the said train at Garhwa Town railway station an RPF jawan attended the bogey and found the missing baggage.
The missing baggage was worth 5, 000 rupees. Yadav said on the request of the passenger Nitesh Kumar the found out baggage was handed over to Nitesh's friend Permode Kumar who hails from Manika after all due process.
RPF post Garhwa Road junction has set a rare example of helping passengers in its own way. It helps women, girls, boys and men.
