PS Rathore of Sant Hirdaram Institute of Management won two gold and One Silver medals in various sports competitions in the fifth State Masters Games in the age group of more than sixty years. Among the players of this group, Rathore has achieved success in winning two gold and one silver medal by securing first position in both the race competitions and second position in discus throw. The competitions were organized at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya ground in Indore.
Masters Games Association Gen. secretary Amanat Khan was the director of the competitions. More than two hundred male and female players of the age group of thirty to eighty years from different districts of the state participated in the competitions.
Rathore completed 100 meter race in 15.10 seconds and 200 meter race in 33.07 seconds. He succeeded in throwing the discus upto a distance of 27.4 meter in discus throw. Rathore was retired from the post of DGM from Punjab National Bank. He had participated in Kho-Kho competition in the National Games held in 1981 and in athletics in 1980.
