Police personnel and officials conducted a mock drill in Ranchi Police Line to deal with violence as a precaution. A large number of Ranchi Police personnel participated in it and practiced dealing with the miscreants. Police personnel conducted the mock drill on the instructions of SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha.

In fact, the police administration is completely alert regarding Durga Puja. Ranchi SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha has instructed all the police station and OP in-charges of the district to keep special vigil in the area on the occasion of Durga Puja. Ranchi Police has assured the public about security by conducting a mock drill and has tried to give the message that the police is fully prepared to deal with any situation.

During the mock drill, it seemed as if the entire area was under the control of rioters and the police was trying to deal with it.
