Rains to continue in State from October 9 to 13

Rain is showing its color in many parts of the country including Bihar-Jharkhand. According to a report by Skymet Weather, cyclonic circulation is formed over Lakshadweep and surrounding areas. It may continue till October 13 and it will also remain effective in Jharkhand till October 18.

A turf line extends up to 1.5 km above the mean sea level from the southwest Bay of Bengal to Tamil Nadu-South Kerala. Due to its effect, a low pressure area is expected to develop over Lakshadweep and adjoining southeast, east central Arabian Sea around October 9.

The cyclonic circulation is expected to move in the northwest direction. Due to this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many states. As far as Jharkhand is concerned, heavy rain occurred in many areas of Jharkhand including Ranchi late on Tuesday evening. People faced a lot of trouble due to rain on the occasion of Durga Puja.

The Meteorological Department has said that the rain will continue in the coming days as well. The department has issued rain alert in many states including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh. There is a possibility of light rain in Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Dindori and Anuppur in Madhya Pradesh. It has been said that the monsoon will return after October 12.

Heavy rain occurred in Raipur, Chhattisgarh on Tuesday. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be rain with thunder in 18 districts here. There will be lightning. Due to the return of the southwest monsoon, a change in the weather is being seen. Talking about Bihar, due to heavy rains in Nepal, flood situation has arisen in 30 districts in the last few days. Rivers like Gandak, Ganga, Kosi are in spate.
